Staten Island/NYC Worth It for Wholesaling? Or Better to Start in TX/FL?

Hey everyone,
I’m just getting started in wholesaling and have been researching different markets. Staten Island is my local area, so I’m wondering if it’s worth focusing on, or if I’d be better off starting in a more active state like Texas or Florida.

I’m really looking for markets where buyers are active and plentiful, especially those who are open and eager to work with wholesalers.

Anyone have experience wholesaling in Staten Island or the outer NYC boroughs? Or insight into how it compares to hot spots like Houston, Tampa, or Jacksonville?

I have a unique skill set , and I’m also looking to connect with anyone who values impact.
Appreciate any and all advice!
