How to find owner's contact info

Found a house that was pretty close to mine that's been abandoned for a long time and that I was going to try to wholesale. I checked the tax records and the address of the owner is the same address as the property and records show that he still owns it but it is pretty clear that no one has been there in a while. Should I send a letter to the house anyway?

@Matthew Rembish

1. Send the letter to the address ( all you can do it TRY)

2. Run the name of the ower in the Appraisal District and see if he owns any other property, that possibly could reveal his current address.

3. Run the name in the county clerk ASSUMED NAMES and see if he has filed any DBA or business related docs, that could show clues to his current address.

4.Run his name in the marriage query as see if he remarried or etc, you will see the current address where the marriage license was mailed.

5. You could take your chances with. www.Spokeo.com or www.findtheseller.com/
