Buyer's list sales pitch

Hi all! I'm trying to build a buyer's list, and was wondering what is the best way for a new wholesaler (never done a deal) to approach a buyer to be on your list? I'm sure the good buyers are bombarded with requests to join buying lists all the time, probably by people with more experience and systems already in place. I want to sound competent and eager without coming off like I'm an old hat at this yet. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

No I don't, you're over complicating the process.

Can you not make the super easy process of building a buyers list not so complicated by nonsense words like "branding". You're not Frito lays chips or Pepsi, build your "brand" by locating great properties and marketing them to buyers.

Don't be afraid of buyers, you don't have to feel like you've got something to prove, have courage and ask them what they want, you'll be amazed how much an experienced buyer will jibber jabber when you stroke their ego, shut up and listen and you'll get a lot of great free tips and they'll not only tell what they're looking for but probably how to find them deals.

Sorry, I just believe you can't brand yourself before actually taking any action.
