Hi would anyone happen to know the way I should go about closing a short sale deal in Massachusetts? Should I use a lawyer to close or a title company here in my state? I'm hearing that in Ma you MUST close a short sale deal with an attorney, is this true?

Hey Jose! congrats on a pending deal.

I would get a good working rapport with an attorney, even if its not necessary. It might cost you a few hundred more to have the attorney do the legwork on a title search for you, but they catch things that title companies may not. just my .02
