Real Estate wholesaling

I saw this question on BP and it is exactly how i feel. but i wanted to bring it up again just in case anything changed between then in 2017. Question for all successful wholesalers on BP...

in 2017, What things do you do on a daily basis to succeed in Wholesaling? Is there a system in place that you follow on a daily, weekly, monthly basis? I am trying to construct a daily agenda of "must-do's" because I don't feel like I am utilizing my time to best of my ability.

Thanks!

Hi @Kei Harvey, the number one thing you should be doing consistently is LEAD GENERATION. Without leads, your business is dead. Marketing directly to motivated sellers is more important than the act of looking for specific properties. There are many ways to generate leads, but it takes much consistency. Squeeze pages are pretty standard. If you don't have one already, you should start one ASAP. The longer your domain is in use, the higher you will rank in the search engines. Also, link your website to as many high quality websites as possible. This means putting your website URL in your profile on BP, FB, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn...just about anywhere you can think of. This will also help you rank. You can also consider posting craigslist ads as consistently as possible, try out different ad types (images/text ads) to see which ones work best for you. Craigslist can be very saturated but leads can certainly come out of it. Also, you can drive for dollars whenever possible. It is time consuming, but driving through neighborhoods and writing down the addresses of vacant/abandoned houses can prove to be extremely beneficial. You can dig a little deeper and find the owners phone details and give them a call, or you can send them direct mail. Those are just a few low-cost things that you can do to get started. But just remember that your primary goal should be generating leads. As long as you know that, you can try out different strategies that align with this goal. Consistency is key. Good Luck!
