LLC for the purposes of selling REO properties

Hello all,

I am thinking of getting into assigning REO properties like I would regular FSBOs, but unfortunately REOs are not assignable. So what I would like to do is to form an LLC, have the LLC act as the buyer and then assign the rights of the LLC to the end buyer. Is that possible , and if so, do I need to form the LLC in Texas or can I form it in a different state like michigan or wyoming, and use that llc to buy and assign REOs in texas or anywhere else?
