Where Do you you get the standard purchase agreement for california. Is any place where I can get one for free?

You can order it on the CAR website (not free though). You can also order it on Amazon (also not free).

The CAR forms are generally hard to get for free. I've had luck though just asking a realtor for a particular form that I've needed.

I got someone to send me one, but it was them transferring my offer onto the Car form. they also took liberty of making a couple of changes. I want to remove and get ablank form do you know how?

CAR uses ZipForms; you can buy the software and load it on your computer, or sign-up for online access (available anywhere with internet connection; always updated). See you local Association of Realtors(r).
