New investor in metro Atlanta area!! Any advice for a beginner

I'm just starting this journey of real estate investing and not sure where/how to start. I'm in metro Atlanta area and want to start out wholesaling to build some capital and then move into rentals. There's so much info out there that I feel I've gotten stuck before I've even started. Any advice/tips would be appreciated. Also are there any REIA's you guys would recommend in the metro area?? I've searched the internet and don't know if any are better than others.

Hey @Moses Hagwood, welcome to the BP community. There is the Atlanta REIA and Georgia REIA, both are good. Wholesaling can be very lucrative but it is also very difficult. You need to be prepared to work at it consistently for at least 6 months before you do a deal. Most people quit when they don't see results right away. Check out Tom Kroll with Wholesaling Inc. He has a great podcast. I'd say for now just keep educating yourself and networking. Then create a plan for yourself and take "massive imperfect action". Best of luck to you.
