How’s the wholesale market for the D.C. area?

I am new to the DMV area (Rockville) and also extra motivated into finding wholesale deals to get myself started. How is the market? Is D.C. a good area to get started or the outskirts of the city will be more feasible for a beginner? I have been to a few real estate meetings in Virginia and D.C. in which, they were more into paying for their programs and that’s not down my alley. Anyone with special gems or information for the D.C. area for a hungry beginner will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The market is busy with a ton of wholesalers, but there are deals to be found if you're willing to put in work. There are plenty of deals to go around. It's all about your marketing and how hungry you are. The big advantage of this area is, we have DC, MD and VA. When you think about that, that's 3 areas with a ton of properties. In DC alone there 8 Wards and within those 8 Wards there are plenty of properties to wholesale.
