Presentation to Sellers
As I am starting my marketing for wholesale deals now (Taking Action!) I was wondering if anyone used a 5-10 slide presentation to have something physical to show to potential sellers to enhance the credibility of the investor?
I am thinking this presentation would show quick slide about my company, the process through a flowchart, and general FAQ on cash buying. It seems like it would be more professional to go in to a meeting with something prepared and able to leave with them other than a business card and a confident verbal message.
Are people doing this? Any examples that you would be willing to share to use as a starting point? (I couldn't locate anything in the FilePlace or through forum searches)

Every transaction I have been involved in has been more conversational. The only paper they get is my offer, maybe a print out of a nearby comp that supports my offer. Nothing else.
I personally don't think a presentation would be needed and to me sort of comes across as like you are trying to prove you are the real deal. Just speak with them, get on their level and build rapport and a level of comfort.
If a seller wants to sell (remember only the motivated sellers are the ones worth even visiting) you don't need to show them a pie chart to get the deal. I don't even meet with a seller until it is established we are in a similar price range and they are without a doubt motivated. You will run out of time and resources otherwise in this game.
Be confident, fake it until you have made it and just communicate with the seller and adapt to what they need while you LISTEN. Presenting this to a seller should only be done if they want and need it to sell to you. Otherwise it really is just for you because you think it would help.
