What advice would you give to someone that just started to wholesale real estate?
Working for someone else may be the best option when you are just getting started.
@Eduardo Nieto I agree with Chris. I suggest you birddog deals for another wholesaler until you learn the ropes. You should also plan to invest in your education by reading books, taking a course, etc. There are tons of videos, forum posts, podcasts, etc. that help educate you on the process. Learn how to negotiate, estimate rehab costs, understand ARV for your market and be aggressive on networking. Good luck in your journey.
@Eduardo Nieto Just as everyone else mentioned, working for someone else is a great way to learn and get your foot in the door.
Other advice is to learn sales and get on the phone. As you speak with potential sellers you will learn and get more comfortable with the process.
Step 1 is to get started!
