Finding Motivated Sellers on Craigslist? Anyone have success?

Personally, although its free, I feel like posting we buy houses type of ads on craigslist real estate services section is unlikely to produce any motivated sellers.

But I would love to be proven wrong, has anyone had any success finding motivated sellers and deals from posting on craigstlist?

In the last six months I have probably signed at least 4-5 deals from CL.

I run a combination of different ads.

Some are simple we buy house ads and some are click-able text link ads to my website and some are click-able image ads and some are a combo of both text and click-able content.

I generally split my posting equally between FSBO and real estate services sections, though I have read somewhere that the services section is supposedly more effective.
