Can I register/insure my car at my out of state rental property for better rates?

I own a duplex rental property in Ohio. My "main residence" is in New York, but I will be traveling around for awhile since I work remotely.

Is it a bad idea or what are the risks to registering my vehicle and insuring it at my rental property that I am not living in?

Obviously a vehicle in Ohio is much cheaper than in New York. Plenty of people in New York drive out of state cars for this reason, and I feel that since I'm not going to be spending a majority of my time in New York anyway, it might not be a bad decision.
