Need Home Owners Insurance Attorney

I have a rental property that is water-damaged. Insurance gave go-ahead to remediate, so contractor started work to get the water out and remove wet walls. The house has been sitting for 2 months now since insurance has been dragging their feet. They requested for energy bills and now said they will not cover the loss after 2 months of wasting time and giving go ahead for contractors to go ahead. I will appreciate if anyone can guide on what to do and suggest a good homeowners insurance attorney. Thank you.

@Saji Ijiyemi I would start with talking with a Public Adjuster.  They can review your claim and policy, then determine if you are legally entitled to coverage under your policy.

I agree with @Jason Bott, a public adjuster is the better route to take. Most public adjusters will not charge you an hourly rate and typically charge a percentage fee based off the claim amount. An attorney could cost you thousands and result in the claim still being declined. Public adjusters are experts in home insurance policies and understanding the claims language to give you the best option to get your loss approved.
