Feedback on San Antonio TX 78244
Hello BP Community,
I am analyzing a deal in the San Antonio, TX 78244 and thinking of putting an offer. How is the area in general?
Thanks
It's terrible. We have shoot outs at noon near the Alamo. Tourists are sometimes tarred and feathered. And, we insist on cash payments for everything. Don't drive a new car to town; we have some of the best body and mechanics in Texas - in chop shops.
Ah, just kidding. We love our city. We build houses; rehab houses; love our neighbors; and wouldn't think of living anywhere else. Those 100 degree days tend to slow us down a bit, though.
Come on to town, we'll welcome you.
There are some really rough parts of 78244 in San Antonio. There are also some new and newer houses in the area. Depends on the street.
You probably need to analyze about 20 or so houses in an area to get a better feel for it. Prices change with major streets, railroads, or a drainage ditch.
Great! thanks for the inputs

78244 is NE San Antonio and contains the neighborhoods: fairways of Woodlake, Mission Hills, Woodlake Park, Woodlake, Sunrise, Candlewood Park and other neighborhoods. So it really depends what neighborhood it's in. Some areas are legit ghetto others are nice. Your typical inner city mix. All that being said my brokerage sold several in that zip code just this month so it is a potentially profitable area. It's a good location but some of the areas in 78244 can be a little sketchy. I'm happy to speak into more detail with you or make some recommendations if still needed
