Foreign investor of CRE in CA

I'm seeking advice as an American living in Canada. I was too young when I moved to Canada to have acquired the title of any state residency. I currently inherited a CRE property in Sacramento California and looking to LLC the building but since I don't live in California I'm curious as to the best work financial and legal direction to pay less taxes and protect my assets. I'm eager to learn and have watched countless hours of YouTube but wanted to hear your insights. My understanding is that certain states don't charge income tax and not sure if it's wise to form a LLC in NV or WY since the property is in California.
