Detroit Visit - Looking to connect with investor friendly RE agents and PMs

Hi everyone! I’m planning a short trip to Detroit in November (dates aren't set yet) and I’m looking to connect with a real-estate agent and a property manager who knows the local market well (especially neighborhoods, market trends, investment-&-rental prospects).

Here’s a bit about me & what I’m after:

  • * I’m looking to explore potential neighborhoods, see some homes, and understand the pros/cons of the Detroit market.

  • * I’d love to chat via phone/Zoom before the trip so I’m better prepared. Then, while I’m in Detroit, I’d like to meet in person (tour neighborhoods, look at homes, walk-the-ground).

  • * Property-management insight is a big plus (tenant market, rental yields, maintenance realities).

My plan is basically BRRRR lite, if that's the right term. But I'd like to pay cash on a property that has some upfront equity and then refinance once it's stabilized. While I'd love to get all of my cash back out, I'm more concerned with CoC returns and cashflowing.
