Cant Sell without Insurance!$!!!!!

So - selling some apartments here in California - an unexpected hitch.   Buyer had a real problem getting insurance.  Lender won't fund or even generate docs without it.  It took a couple of weeks just to scare up the insurance.  I just got off the phone with my broker - seems that my buyer's 1031 downleg hasn't closed.... because THEIR buyer is having trouble getting INSURANCE.  GRRRRR!
