I've driven through Longview hundreds of times on my journey of moving from the coast, where I owned a small hotel and a vacation rental company in Long Beach to Portland. Truth be told, I signed a quit claim and walked to ease the greedy husband stress on my son, because I can make more money, but I can't remake my only child's emotional well-being if that were to continue. Hence, I've returned to RE. Being from Canada by way of California, I got my feet back in as a writer, having been a journalist, and learned all I could about the US market, making experts of various agents, lenders and multinationals investor organizations through ghost writing. I've now coached some locals with great success and feel ready to dive in. Research was always my strength when it comes down to brass tacks. Finding an ethical partner of good temperament who likes making money as much as I do is my goal.

Thank you for asking! I'm happy to say I've got one happy investor with two midwest properties, each a brick 3/1 SFRs for 25k a piece, and each currently rented for $550/month. I encountered the properties just 48 hours ago, so it's a good day.
