@Lucas Bolander welcome to BP!

You're on the right track. Use fix n flips to fund your buy and holds.

Welcome @Jonathan F.! Regardless of where you decide to invest, you're better off buying your properties close to each other so you can leverage the same management company, contractor, leasing agent, etc for all of them. This way you're a bigger customer to them and can take advantage of a more VIP treatment.

Cleveland is an excellent market that my team has been investing in since 2008. We welcome Lebron back with open arms and look forward to higher rent prices in the years to come.

Cheers,

Vala

Thanks Andrew! Of those three markets, where are you seeing the strongest cash flow? Doesn't Texas high property taxes put them at a disadvantage?

PS - Belize is one of my favorite travel spots. I've driven around most the country...amazing people.

Cheers,

Vala

Hello BP!

After reading the articles on this site for some time I have finally decided to join the fun. I have a strong background in technology and have held various roles at some of the top tech companies in the world. I also have a strong passion for real estate. I have been investing since 2010 when I met some investors that showed me the ropes. Living in SoCal its hard to find properties with strong cash flow in my budget so I started with my first property in Cleveland.

As a basketball fan I'm stoked that Lebron James has returned to Cleveland, I'm sure it will reflect in my future ROI.

There is a ton of information on this site and lots of knowledgable investors so I hope I can learn from you guys and add value to the guys who are just getting started, especially in long distance investing.

What's the best way to network on this site? I'm looking to find other investors and agents to both buy and sell.

Thanks,

Vala
