I am going to the courthouse today to get listings for NOD and preforeclosures.
I have no experience what so ever in wholesaling. Plan to go to RICH and other club meetings to network(there is one meetup meeting on the 24th)in houston. I plan to send letters/postcards in the next two weeks.
Since I am so green I am considering finding motivated sellers and asking for my fellow BP members from Houston to help me out, maybe JV on wholesale or short sell deals. If I find a seller, anyone here in Houston that has a buyers list already lined up willing to show me the ropes?
Seasoned Bp'ers please take it easy on me if any of this sounds dumb. I am just ready to take action and learn.

Excellent idea Bridget D.

I think that would be a great way to pay for it forward!
Also, thank you Michael Q for doing this. I have read your posts over and over but I have never replied. Your posts have been extremely encouraging to me and I am sure countless of other newbies

My story is no different than any of yours that want to start real estate wholesaling..
I am passionate and highly motivated for change. I have no money or experience to get started and just need a leg up from someone who is doing this and not just trying to take advantage of my inexperience.
I worked in the IT field doing helpdesk work for over a decade and really havent gotten anywhere in life instead of more debt.
I have 2 daughters and one bonus child(step daughter).
If I work really hard I can pay my bills on time, and have enough gas to get to work but all the pressure is suffocating!
