I really have no idea yet, but Im trying to find out, I just want to try and present some ideas to my family first, i guess, I am thinking leasing the property, maybe leasing to the other families?

@Troy S.

Hey Thanks for your reply, I guess I would have to say that I'm the only one so far that has some knowledge (its not a lot though) on seeing potential of making a dollar off of this deal, and potentially a cash flow, like in leasing the land to be used by someone else, but we still own it, I guess because I'm not fully educated on what could be done, I'm looking for what kind of options I may have. I did think of leasing, is there anything else out there?

Hello BP world, looking for advice

    My family has recently acquired raw land after a loved one passed away, a small parcel that was apparently split up 6 ways, we own 3/6 of the land, the rest is own by other family members. The idea was that land stays in the family name.

My parents want to just sell the 3/6 portion to the other family members just to get rid of it (but i assume they just don't know what to do with it, or it would cost too much money that they don't have in order to do something with it). So I'm taking it upon myself to do some research and reach out to the BP world for some advice on how we could keep the 3/6 portion of land and somehow make money off of it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Kaohu

So I just set up a self directed IRA account and have visions of someday purchasing a rental property for cash flow, which would be purchased by my IRA, what I want to know is, say I want to live in the property once its paid for by the renter, how am I able to take the property out of my IRA so I wont be prohibited by my IRA?

Thanks

Kao

Thanks everyone for your idea and suggestions, I guess Im a little flustered because there are a lot of companies that sell MN, I guess I am trying to find out which is the best, and has the best return, on top of the rest of the due diligence, any suggestions on how to better do Due DIllgence?

@JamesWise

Thank you, im like a sponge ready to soak up knowledge and connect with those that have been there and done that

Aloha, my name is a Kaohu Seto, but my friends call me Kao. I am a newcomer to BP and am excited to finally be here. I am also a beginner investor who is interested in passive cash flow using my SDIRA, and Im looking into Mortgage notes, (which i chose because its something that i could invest out of state wheres theres more affordable markets that here in hawaii) hopefully notes under 30-20K, but dont know where to start. I am also a great learner ad would love to increase my knowledge on the topic of notes, then hopefully move my way up to bigger better passive cash flow deals. Any info about notes or where to start would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and im looking forward to making friends
