@Bill S. thanks for the warm welcome and the notes. I'll definitely be attending some upcoming meetups, great idea! Any good groups you recommend?

Hello all, wanted to quickly introduce myself!
I have ~ 15 years in the construction industry under my belt with both residential (GC) and commercial (retail PM) experience. About 8 years ago, I jumped off the deep end and started a few successful companies (marketing, web & hardware development, event management, and a couple others). Still finding success in my latter endeavors but am looking to leverage my knowledge & experience in the construction industry and get into real estate as this has always been my end goal. Ahh yes, also graduated from Michigan State with a bachelor's degree in construction management.
I currently live in Denver where the market is HOT, but am actively seeking deals (residential, single and multi-family) to help build equity and a safety net just in case the market bears towards a correction in the next few years. Primarily interested in fix and holds, but if the opportunity is right, definitely interested in fix 'n flips as well.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everybody and I look forward to being an active member of the community!
