So then would Akron be a good spot to convert an existing rental to Section 8?

Hey all,

I'm looking for any and all recommendations, advice and experience for an MTR PM that operates in Akron, OH. I have 2 SFHs, both 4/bed 1.5/bath, one is just down the street from the Summa Health Hospital, the other is a 15 minute drive from it. The first is soon to be on a month to month lease and the further one is soon to be vacant.

I'm fairly new to investing, bought my first 2 SFH a year ago through a turnkey company. I prefer a more passive approach at this point as I know my own capabilities. I am interested in MTR for my properties in Akron, OH as one is walking distance to Summa Health Systems Hospital there and the other is a 15 minute drive. I am currently looking for a new PM and wondering if that's an area you are interested in expanding to, or if you know of any MTR PMs that operate in that area that you would recommend? Appreciate any info or advice you have. Thanks!

I've got the same complaints, about the same PM, mislead to by the same dealer, through the same Turnkey company.

It's really frustrating and ultimately has cost me a lot of money. I am currently looking for a new PM for both of my properties in Akron. Let me know if you've had any luck finding a new one.
