@Stephanie Dobbs, thanks, I got it. I was just saying I'm trying to change my perspective to not be so worried about avoiding a little hard work (stress). Yeah, I think I've got a different approach to life and finding solutions or being willing to deal with challenges is now welcome. 😊

@Raymond B., thanks for the welcome. Wallingford! We're fairly close in proximity to one another. Stay in touch! 😊

@Stephanie Dobbs, thanks for heads up on the exam, I really appreciate that. I finished my first course (Fundamentals) and am now on "Practice." It is a little overwhelming. There is so much jargon. I'm however determined to become a go getter and change things in my life and others. For most of my adult life I've been the typical slacker always avoiding stress and while I had no stress in my life or very little. It created another problem which leads to stress and that is financial ruin. Anyway, I'm starting a bit late in life, but as they say - "It's never too late." 😊

@Canesha Edwards, agreed. My only problem with all this info is it can be soooo time consuming.

@Andy V., thanks for the welcome but regarding my original profile photo: how did you know that it was not mine? Maybe I look exactly someone else. 😉  Seriously though, it was just temporary till I could find one of myself.

@Mary B., I am exploring the site's functions and it is very helpful. Thanks for the welcome. 😊

@Brandon Turner, thanks for the welcome! 😊 I'll check out the podcast.

@Joe Moore, thanks for the welcome.

Yes, indeed, It looks like I could learn quite a bit and probably spend way too much time on here. Thanks for the welcome. It seems your goals are similar to mine but it will be a lot harder for me as I am not handy.

I'm originally from NYC; born and raised, but I currently live in Branford, CT with my wife and three children. I am not yet licensed but currently working on it. Strangely enough I'm working on a license for P.A.. We were in Philly through the month of May and fell in love with the city. So I thought of getting a license to facilitate investing in some properties there and potentially making a career out of real estate. It would have to be a side job to start and I'm not sure if I can manage that, but I'll give it a shot.
