I may invest but I think I kind of missed the boat. I would also be at a shortage of capital at the moment

The area we live at (DC Metro), residential real estate just exploded in the past 6 years. I mean my brother's house literally doubled in value within that period and for some reason my dad saw it coming and got some kind of deal from hud on a house way below market and built up from a single townhome to 5 townhouses all on rent right now, worth a bundle more then what he paid.

Hi biggerpro

Thx for the welcome.

Well for residential, from my aspect there would be very little involvement, however the interest remains.

My involvement would mainly be (business property) commercial real estate.

Well when i first laid out my site, I had loopnet on my mind and set up an area for commercial real estate for rent, sale and all other kinds of stuff as well as a commercial real estate agents directory.

But half way in the middle I said to myself, where on earth am I going to find people which will actually list their property on my site even for free, I mean this is such a big area and my site is going to start looking shabby with just empty pages.

So for the time being, I let that part slide.

So my focus on Real Estate would mainly be commercial real estate.

Hey doesn't craigslist have a real estate for sale section.

Edit,
Sorry, just saw your post had already mentioned craigslist.

Thanks there biggerpro.

Much appreciated.
