I spent 6 years in the US Air Force after high school. After leaving the USAF I was a Police Officer for two years. I left the Police Department and went back to school in order to use up my POST 9/11 GI Bill:

A.A. in Behavioral Science
B.S. in Emergency Management

Currently I work as a Environmental Health & Safety Manager for a large hospital. I have been taking the coursework necessary to get my Real Estate Brokers License since 2011 in my spare time.

Most members of my family are military veterans, last four generations are combat veterans, and most of my really close friends are veterans as well. Needless to say, there is an unspoken trust there, so naturally when considering ventures that put one at risk, naturally I prefer to deal with the people I trust most to have my back.

Well thanks for the input everyone, Like I stated I was just curious to see a group like that currently existed.

So I have always had an affinity for veterans, as we tend to take care of our own. With that being said, I've read about investing groups, clubs, and so forth. But I'm curious to see if their are any RE investing groups specifically run/ for veterans?

It's funny, when I was eighteen I could have told you how the world worked and how to fix the worlds problems. However, the older I get, the more I realize that I don't know anything. So I joined BiggerPockets to lean from those with more experience and hopefully reap the benefit from those experiences. I have alot of questions and I like to be well informed before making a move. I look for things that are adventitious and help bridge the gap so my endeavors are successful.

These stories are really great. Does anyone else have a story to share?
