Welcome! What kind of investing do you do (or hope to do)?

Thanks for posting this list. I have heard of some of these, but not all - will have to give a few a try!

As for REIAs in Fort Worth, there is a DFW area REIA that meets in Haltom City, which is close to Fort Worth. I have not been, but maybe someone can chime in with their experience:

Another introvert here. I am just getting started, and the networking is also the hardest part for me. I will disagree with some of the advice here and say that I don't think the goal should be to learn how to be more extroverted. There are benefits on both sides, learn to play to your strengths.

As to the networking, I always find it easier to talk about things I am interested in (such as real estate). If we have that mutual interest, that takes some of the pressure off. I still have a hard time initiating those conversations though...

Can you explain how you got to 60% cash on cash return? Just from a very high level that seems hard to achieve with a purchase price of $170k and rents of $1900 per month.

I hope to be there as well.

Welcome to BP! I'm a buy and hold guy in DFW (though looking to branch out to generate some extra cash for more down payments). There are a ton of people from DFW on here, so you'll fit right in!
