I'm definitely not buying anything. Why pay thousands when you have BP, the ultimate guru?

Has anyone been to his seminars recently? I will be attending one this coming Wednesday in Hreenville, SC with my business partner, and I just wanted to know how reliable his information is.

@Joshua Dorkin thanks for the reply!  Also, thank you for this forum.  It is proving to be an invaluable resource! Much appreciated.

@Isaias Arroyo Thanks for the response!  Good luck to you as well!

@Deadrick Colbert My girlfriend's house is in Pickens. So, I'm right up the road from you.  It's nice to see a fellow Clemson grad on here!

Hello,  my name is Justin Finley, and I actually live in the Clemson, SC area.  I'll be finishing my bachelors this fall in Economics.  While I'll be able to land a good job because I'm a computer programmer, I've always had the entrepreneur bug.  I dislike working for somewhere else(I have a full-time job now). My age group has been led to believe the "American Dream" is working for someone else, and building a life based on building someone's bank account.  In reality, the "American Dream" is working for yourself, and building your own wealth.

I've decided to focus my efforts on the Greenville, SC area.  I'm sure there are some members on here already making good money in this city, because it's a real up-and-coming area.  The demographic is young professionals.  There are tons of college grads migrating to this area from all over the Southeast, and I'm lucky enough to live near, and know the area fairly well.

My background in real estate is basically non-existent.  I've spent the past few months studying some about real estate investing, and talking with my grandfather.  When he was younger he rehabbed houses to supplement his income from his day job.  He stopped when his land surveying business started doing really well.  Now, he's retired, and bored haha. So, he will be my partner in the beginning.

We plan on rehabbing, and flipping to begin, and in a couple of years we want to begin to buy/hold a percentage of these properties.  Right now, I'm ramping up my studying here on BP.  I can't believe I just found this site. I wish I'd found it a while back. I'm going to start going through the podcasts, and posts to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

If you're from the Greenville, SC area feel free to message me! I'd love to pick some people's brains!
