Hi Michael,
Another new member here. Welcome and I am excited to see more and more people joining. I saw your post that you're interested in PA. I'd love to chat about your experience so far. I bought my first property in Feb and actively looking for more!

Hello BP Community,
My name is Alek Liskov, a 25 year old from Clifton, NJ. I bought my first investment property in February. It was a 5br 2.5bth SF foreclosure home in East Stroudsburg, PA that I bought all cash. My goal is to leverage my healthy W2 to build additional recurring income. I am the sole earner in my family while my wife takes care of our 10 month old daughter.
Other than having purchased this home, listened to the BP Podcast for over 4 months and read @Brandon Turner's two books (Rental + Investment) and the blog, I have no prior experience. That being said, I have always been very entrepreneurial but never been able to find my niche. So far I really feel REI could fill that gap and allow me to grow financially and professionally.
I am actively looking to expand my portfolio. For now, focusing on deals within about an hour drive from where I live. My focus in the near future will be more investment properties as well as finding a BRRR MF for myself and tenants in NJ.
I'm excited to become part of this community. To borrow Brandon's words, I have been lurking the forums quietly for the past few months, but thanks to one of the latest episodes of the podcast, I was finally encouraged to start actively participating.@Brandon Turner
Thanks to anyone who stopped by to read this. Feel free to ask anything!
Regards,
Alek
