@Rocky Griffin planning on keeping tenants on one side and moving into the other to utilize owner-occupancy financing. After a year I plan on moving out and renting that side again. Not much room for rent increases (maybe could get $900), but there is an apartment complex across the street that rents at $769 for a 3 bedroom. However, their 3 bedroom is 1500 sq ft and mine is 1950 sq ft with a two car garage. Thank you for the reply!

What's going on everybody! My name is Alex Owens, I am 22 years old, and I just graduated from the University of Oklahoma. I began my real estate journey two years ago when - as a Finance and Accounting student - I realized that real estate holds more economic opportunity than any investment vehicle I was being taught in school - namely stocks, ETFs, commodities, mutual funds, bonds, currencies, 401(k), IRAs, etc. In 2017 I started the University of Oklahoma Real Estate Club where we successfully recruited over 50 members in 3 months time (we even had a guest appearance from BP's very own Brandon Turner!) I graduated with a passion and hunger for real estate investing and took a job as Acquisition Manager for a real estate fund in Oklahoma City.
Today, August 14, 2017, I am ecstatic to announce that I have my first investment property under contract! It is a 3,900 sq ft Duplex in Oklahoma City, OK near Lake Hefner renting at $850 each side, with a purchase price of $145,000. The property is rent-ready and currently leased on both sides. I have attached a photo of the BP report I did on the property and I would love to get some feedback from the community. Please let me know your thoughts!!
