I did check with the HOA and they allow renting and I'm following their specifications, however, I'm not clear if this type of rental follows the same rules/stipulations as if it were a house, duplex or any other rental property.

Paul and Logan, I'm planning on investing in more parking spaces, however before following up with my plan I just needed to find some clarification if this use case is also a part of rental properties since people won't be living in the parking spaces so it confuses me a little bit.

Jonathan, thank you! Yes i've tried spothero and parked however I found it easier to rent monthly instead. The parking space is located downtown Chicago.

Hello, 

My name is Alex and I own a parking spot which is currently occupied to a tenant I trust, however, I'm very new at this and it's hard to find information specifically about owning residential parking spots and renting them out. 

Is there any advise you have, book, podcast or anything that you recommend so I can get more knowledge about the topic? 

I already read The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and it was a fantastic book, however now I'm looking for more specific information about this use case.
