Welcome to BP @Sean Doherty ! I am pretty new myself--looking to acquire some REI knowledge pertaining to wholesaling and house-hacking in the hopes that it will eventually lead to a lucrative path and some freedom! I have recently become interested in starting my house-hacking journey in a few areas south including Taunton, New Bedford, and the Bridgewater area.

Best of luck to you! I hope that you find the time to delve into the REI path to the best of your ability!

Drop a message below outlining your best and worst Wholesaling experiences ! I wanna know the good bad & the ugly. What/who influenced you to get in the wholesaling business? What were your first steps in this journey?

Thank you all!

I have been researching wholesaling lately for that exact reason; to generate cash and pay down my current student debt. I just have to put my thoughts into action. With all of the information that is offered (everywhere) I need to put the research into action.

Of course I am also interested in house-hacking as well in order to try and get rid of living expenses and begin to invest in general. I feel as though my loans are currently holding me back. So I'm back to the wholesaling idea! If any of you have any real-life tips on this or invaluable resources and lessons, drop them here!

Much thanks, Rachel !
Hello Hello ! As stated, I am interested in Real Estate Investing and stumbled upon BP in order to seek valuable real-life advice and experiences ! So many gems on this site, I appreciate everyone willing and able to share their narratives and professional opinions. I am a recent grad from Massachusetts looking to enter law school either this fall or fall 2019. My goal is to use real estate in order to assist in settling my debts first and possibly for the rest of my life while an attorney. I joined BP to help me figure out where to start ! Feel free to drop any comments/ideas/advice below !
Thank for this, it’s a helpful start, and one that I’ve been considering!

Hello All !!

I received my undergraduate degree almost 2 years ago and have been using this time to work as a Paralegal and study for the LSAT. I have sent out all of my applications and am waiting for my decision letters. During this time I’ve been paying off my undergraduate school debts and discovered that I would be footing approximately $1,000-$1500 per month after law school. I have created a goal to find a way to lessen my future debts and after musing through this site, I believe that real estate will help me accomplish this task.

With this being said, I wanted to open a discussion and ask whether any of you have or know someone who has paid for law school using real estate whether it be house-hacking, wholesaling, etc. while in law school before entering and while working full-time. I am looking for real strategy or general information. Thanks in advance !!
