Hi Everyone! Thanks for the help! I work with @turnkeyvr for my property management in Rockport and Brandi in Austin with Turnkey has been amazing in helping me with areas that are good. I am still definitely in the research phase and open to options and suggestions! Looking for a Type 3 property that will allow 25% STRs, a 1b/1b condo at this point but again open to suggestions.

Hi! I currently have a rental in Rockport, TX. I love owning a short-term rental and understand the business better now that's its been almost 2 years that I have had the property.. I am looking to invest in a short-term in Austin, any suggestions? I am aware of the 50% owner occupancy rule that Austin sets for Airbnb owners? Does anyone in this group have experience with this? I would appreciate any feedback.. Thank you!

Hi, I currently own my primary residence and bought for 272, 500. There is no note on it. I am looking at selling it vs. renting it in order to move my family into a bigger house. I have found a house for 405,000.00. What variables do I need to consider? What calculators would best help me make my decision.
Comps are great for both houses. My current neighborhood... house plan almost exactly like mine but with fireplace sold for 317,000.00 with less than 3 days on the market.
Neighborhood I am moving too, comps are 450k or more.
Rentals in my current neighborhood are 2k a month.
What are the pros/cons of renting vs. selling my current home.
What variables do I need to consider?

I'm interested in following this thread as well!! I need to do some more research on Frisco Heights. I am interested in a buy/hold strategy. Looking for a duplex opportunity but if the numbers are right for a sfh rental, I'll review. I live in San Antonio, however TCU and Ft. Worth is my home town!!
