really depends, if the partnership is going well and they like my work and we come up with a good price point then absolutely. I dont mind the extra side income while networking!

Hi there Evan,

Thank you for your input. Expecting free rent for property management there would need to be multiple units and yes I am qualified. It's an exchange for rent, not free rent so I would be fine either way, as I am reaching out so there's a win-win for every party. There are alot more options than staying or renting, as neither make sense to me because neither help the cashflow situation. One of my options is reaching out to other investors to understand their needs and struggles to figure out if there can be a possible move that helps both parties, the other is moving with family temporarily. But so far those are the only 2 logical options that I came up with.

Hi there,

My wife and I are currently looking for our next multifamily in the twin cities area but we are needing to move out of our current duplex. We converted our side from a 4 bedroom to a 5 bedroom and it just doesn't make sense to stay when it could be cash flowing. Being the market is so hot right now we understand we may not find a property as fast as we would like with out over paying. So we thought of reaching out to other investors and networking to see if anyone is in need of a property manager or handyman ext, in exchange for a place to stay while we search for our next property.

Hi there,

My name is Ian and I am an investor in the Twin cities area, who is currently using house hacking to further my wife and my investment portfolio. I've lived in MN for about 11 years and my wife is has lived in the area her whole life.  We are currently in the market for another multifamily property that we can owner occupy. We are interested in property managing in trade for housing and would love other's feedback on the idea.
