"I don't have any experience in the game" The solution is to fix the experience requirement. Part of the obstacle is Finding an experienced Investor willing to partner up on the deal. What's the breakdown of the deal?

You can become a virtual wholesaler; you don't have to move. I recommend proving value to an investor in your local market and figuring out what he is doing right.

In my honest opinion, #extremeownership. Start networking at local meetups. I have found the best advice comes from the investors I interact with at meetups.

If you see the potential for both markets, I recommend starting local. The following actionable step, in my opinion, would be to network with local investors doing what you want to be doing.

The best way to get clarity is to network with investors doing what you want to be doing. Going to meetups and networking with investors in my niche has helped me out.

I recommend providing value to a local real estate investing team. You don't have to be an agent to understand the local market. Start going to meetups every week.

Quote from @Lauren Kennedy:
Hi Everyone, I'm brand new here. My question is, I lost my job a few months ago (in a completely unrelated industry that I don't want to continue in). I really do not want to get another "job," and am super excited to be independent. I did great in my last sales job - I'm just tired of building wealth for other people. Real estate investing is one of the things I'd like to get into. Is it realistic that as a complete rookie, and some but not a lot of money in the bank, that I can turn this into a paying/profitable business within 3 to 6 months? That's about the amount of time I have in savings before I'd need to get a "job." I have something I've never had before which is TIME, and am willing to put in the work to learn, I just don't know quite where to start. Any advice/pep talks are welcome :) Thanks!
I recommend networking with local wholesalers in your area. Connect and follow as many wholesalers on Instagram. Wholesalers are always looking to hire sales reps. Wholesaling can actually be a virtual career as well.
