I have a master's and bachlors degree in Architectural Engineering (building systems)!

Yes I do believe it has helped considering I design mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems for small commercial up to large complexes.

Of course, I could have done this without the degree! You can do anything with dedication and networking.

@Maxim S. I would try to find a duplex and live in one half and rent the other to help with mortgage. Or I would try to live in flip a property that just really needs cosmetic work since you have a family.

Hello! I was born and raised in Metro Detroit and have started to see traction in the real estate investment realm here. I am a full-time Architectural Engineer Project Leader for an Architectural Engineering firm. I have always been interested in finance and house flipping. I bought my own home two years ago and have put a lot of work into it and have fallen in love with working on it.

I am not planning on being a house flipper but am willing to put in some elbow grease to run-down properties. I am more interested in having several rental properties around the area that can make a steady stream of passive income.

I am very willing to work with out of town investors that may not be able to see properties they are interested in purchasing. I can also give insight into neighborhoods you should or should not invest in.

Anyways, hope to talk to you all soon. Thanks!
