Hi Jessica! We did not allow people to sublet in our community but we would give the person an option to find a new renter and we would take their application and run their credit as if we found the lead. That way we have everything documented properly and verified the new tenants.

Join House Academy to get private funding with House Tank!

We have created levels of membership: Green and Silver. Green is free. Silver is $275 per month and includes everything in the right-hand column HERE

We do not provide the tools without education and vice versa. We have found that our successful members have both. You need the education to learn how to use the tools, and you need the tools to enact the membership.

@Theo Kirk Welcome to BP! REI does have it's risks. I do recommend connecting with local investors. Best of Luck!

Any suggestions

I would recommend confirming with your selling that they advised the tenant they are selling the property at least.

Hey there, @Carlos Ariel Leyva. Great to see you take that first and maybe most difficult step in real estate investment: reaching out on BiggerPockets. Congratulations and I wish you a ton of success.

@Jeremy Ferguson Do you know if she plans on leaving soon? Have you talked to her yet?
