Good morning, I'm looking for an agent in Windsor, Ontario, who can help me confirm if the property taxes are 2% of the value of the property. I'm getting pre-approved, and that's a question from the broker. Thank you.

Thank you beautiful community for your feedback 😎😍

Can I still buy something in Windsor for under 340K? No condos. This will be our primary residence. Thank you!

Hola everyone,

For those in Canada 🇨🇦 : We live in Vancouver, but we are interested in purchasing a property in either Alberta or Windsor. While my work is remote and I can move, my husband works in person. Can I qualify for this purchase using my husband's income, even though he will remain in British Columbia while I relocate first with my kid to our new property?

Thank you so much for your insights ❤️

I also want to join your coffee talks guys @Anthony Therrien-Bernard & @Gareth Rubery... have you already met?

We did connect, shoot me a message if you would like to talk as well

Hola again,

I am thinking of getting a duplex in Morinville. It will be like a like rent to own but not really a rent-to-own program because the builder this case wants to sell the home.  He said that I will have to qualify for a mortgage within the next 3 years. I am based in BC and we actually want to move to Edmonton but after we are able to get a mortgage for a condo here, hopefully by the end of this year.  I have looked at the Moriville population growth and seems like the population is growing however there's no public transportation there and still seems like a small town. The builder said there are people who are looking for places to rent there so I wonder where to go to find more info about this town... do you have a property manager that I may be able to talk and if I go with the property can manage it for me?

Thank you in advance, Anthony!

Unfortunately I know nothing about that market as it is quite far from Calgary. Good luck!

Thank you! Once we moved to Calgary I will reach out again.

Thank you for your kind reply @Zorya Belanger. Have a great week ahead!

Hello everyone! Hola @Zorya Belanger and everyone else in this thread.

Is anybody investing in Morinville, Alberta (30-40 min from Edmonton)? I came across an opportunity to buy a rental home here but doing my research "google says" that Morinville is a growing community. The Census data shows that the population is growing but very slowly. I plan to talk to a property manager but wanted to ask your opinion on this town as well....Thank you in advance.
