Hello BP investors!

I'm looking for recommendations for an attorney and/or title company in the state of New York that is investor-friendly. My goal is to do contract assignments and buy/hold properties so having someone that is knowledgeable in both areas would be ideal. Thank you in advance for your help.

Stay Safe!

@Ryan Guffey

Hi! I’m on the same boat too. I agree with a lot of the comments I listen to podcast during the day while working. Something that helped the past 2 months was the intention journal from BP it keeps me accountable for creating a schedule and hitting my goals (even small ones). Time management is huge but having something written down can help with guidance and not feel like you are trying to do everything at once but feeling like nothing got accomplished at the end of the day.

Good luck keep us posted on journey!

I think the concerns are valid as a newbie I'm being more conservative when running numbers and carefully following news. I've seen multiple reports where supply is very low now but demand is high (I suspect due to the low interest rate) so people are overpaying for real estate? I think the best time to really buy will be early next year and that will be due to many foreclosures unfortunately...

I live in NYC I’ve already been hearing horror stories from other property managers who have tenants choosing not to pay even though they are employed because they saw on social media they don’t have to pay right now... I’m afraid of what all of this will do to real estate in general in New York...

@Anthony Ward thank you so much for the reply! This is definitely scary, but I'm taking this opportunity to learn what other investors are doing and keeping a look at the market I'm interested. Stay safe and well!

Proud New Yorker here...but I'm definitely looking for out-of-state for my first investment. I understand everyone is struggling right now with this new virus, but why isn't the government getting more involved in giving people more aid so bills can be paid on time???? The only thing this new bill will cause is higher rent for market rate apartments in order to make up for loss of income... from what I've heard insurance companies are looking the other way and are not offering any type of protection to owners.
