@James Wise, I've been designing websites for about 14 years now, started when I was in college to pay for pasta and rice. The marketing piece is actually the more exciting part and that's just been for the past 5 years. Did you get started first with investing or property management?

Hey Folks,

My name is Andrew and my wife and I life in Oakland right now. Last year I read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad and it started the real estate wheels turning in my head. I'm trying to learn all I can and develop some local connections so we can hopefully buy our first Multi-Family home this year.

I'm originally from the North Bay (Sebastopol, CA) if anyone knows that area and went to school down in Santa Barbara at UCSB. For my day job I run a small web design and marketing firm. I love business and connecting with people.

Looking to attend some good meetups and also connecting with local REI folks to discuss the local market. Here's to a great 2015!
