Hello @Account Closed ! I have been listening to Bigger Pockets podcast and reading information on Bigger Pockets fora and I learned a lot already. This information is freely available and I feel like 24 hours are not enough to absorb all of it. Start with BP Ultimate Begginer's guide http://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-investing. It has a chapter on education. Good luck!

Hello @Leland F. ! I am local and I am also interested in Baltimore properties. I am currently in the "absorbing" stage. I just posted my first intro today and your post appeared. How are things going? What have you learned since your first post?

Thank you for your welcome, guys!

@Jon Huber Much obliged for the resources! I know now what to do this evening :)

Hello BP community! I am new to real estate investment but I am learning a lot from the collective wisdom on this website and podcast. I am absolutely addicted. I plan to start with buy-and-hold single family houses and see how it goes.

DC real estate market is still an enigma to me. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to better approach learning about DC neighborhoods?

Thank you all! I am glad to be here.
