Good evening everyone, I have a question about an eviction that I have currently served to my tenant. We went through the court process and had the eviction sealed but he has to be out on a certain date (November 18th, 2016). He was the only person living there and I believe his son has moved back in recently. His son is a minor and the court document doesn't state "and all other persons." On the 18th, do I have to start the process over with his son? Or do I just go to the sheriffs office and give the order to move him out my tenant and they will take care of his son as well?

Wow, thank you so much. I went ahead and served the notice, should I bring it down to the court office on the 11th? It's already notarized

Good afternoon everyone, I'm in the process of evicting one of my tenants in Chicago, IL. He has not paid his rent for neither August nor September. He gave me a 30 day notice September 1st, but still owes the money. Can I still serve him a 5 day notice to supersede the 30 day notice given by the tenant, even though he hasn't paid? Cook county has some funny regulations and I want to be in my right to get him out.
