Looks good! What area of Rockford are you focused on? I see a ton of homes for sale up there and have taken time to see a few. Just never pulled the trigger since prices are all over the board and a lot of area’s seem iffy.

I would contact your real estate agent and attorney as soon as you can, they’ll have to change the dates on the contract and then have you sign with the dates you want. Your agent if your using one will talk with the sellers agent to make sure they are ok with your terms.
I would try calling a data company or the cable/internet provider out if it’s just a coax cable, an electrical company would be a lot more money. Typically a coax line is pretty cut and dry it’s a single coax cable that runs from the wall outlet back to where it connects to the cable company router, it could be as simple as replacing both connectors but you would need the tools to do that.

Jay Hinrichs any thoughts of getting the Tesla Roadster!? Might as well get the whole lineup! They’re claiming a 620 mile range.

Nice job, it’s always nice to see a run down house brought back to its potential, I’m sure all the neighbors are thrilled!

It depends on a number of questions, such as what’s code? Does it have to be in pipe? How far is the panel in the basement? Will you be using an existing outlet to replace it? And will it require drilling through the floor to get the pipe/wire to your desired location?

You definitely want to have an attorney at the beginning, remember an attorney is on your side they're gonna protect you from the things you may not foresee.
