I'm a bus driver and I really don't have time to get another job. My real estate agent told me to just buy the single family and when in a few years I can use the house to buy into a multi family and still keep the single family

I've currently been preapproved for a single family only. I want to get into real estate bad. But I don't have the money or the credit to get into multi families. What can I do?

I would highly recommend you start listening to the podcasts and read the Ultimate Beginner's Guide to REI. Both those sources are highly informative and should set you up nicely. Good luck with everything, Ron.

 Thank you Rohun!

I've started the podcast and I'm going to start reading guide.

 Welcome to BiggerPockets!

You've already got the first step down, introducing yourself. I would recommend uploading a profile picture of yourself, filling out all the info (or at least as much as possible) on your homepage, and start reading/listening and asking as many questions as possible.

Thanks for tips Zachary!

See when you say market, I don't know what you mean...

I thought Ridgewood was a market on its own.

Hi All,

My name is Ron and I'm a newbie to Bigger Pocket and a real newbie to the industry as a whole. I don't have a background in real estate but I'm looking to gain some deep knowledge and start investing. I'm looking to start out with a buy and holds (multi's) (I hope used that teminlogy correctly)

If anybody has some tips for me it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
