The Hot Seat is not your average event—it’s a live, collaborative experience where real challenges meet real-time solutions. Designed exclusively for LIFT members, this session is all about tapping into the collective power of our community to help each other grow.

How It Works:

Each Hot Seat event features two LIFT members who have submitted a current challenge they’re facing in their real estate investing journey or career. These selected members will present their scenario to the group, followed by a dynamic brainstorming session where everyone contributes feedback, ideas, and possible solutions. Whether you're in the Hot Seat or in the room, you’ll leave with new insights, shared experiences, and actionable takeaways.

Submit your investing challenge the month prior to the event. Keep an eye on our social channels—links and submission forms will be posted there!

Selection Process:

The LIFT board will review all submissions and select two scenarios that offer high value for group learning and discussion. Selected members will be notified two weeks before the event.

Event Format:

• Two featured members present their challenge (15 min each)
• Group brainstorming + feedback (15 min each)
• Open Floor: If time allows, we’ll open the floor for impromptu Q&A or quick-fire challenges from attendees.

Welcome to the first Annual MN InvestHer Fall Summit!
We are so excited to bring to our community an afternoon specifically designed for empowerment and growth! Bethany Nelson is a Realtor, investor, high-capacity leader, and founder of the Bethany Nelson Real Estate Group. She leads a top-producing real estate team that is outpacing the industry. Beyond her real estate success, Bethany is passionate about wealth building and leads an online community for women pursuing financial freedom. She has coached hundreds through the steps to build wealth, sharing her own experiences and failures to make the process tactical, achievable, and scalable.

2. From Corporate to Full time Real Estate Investor with Amber Miller
Amber Miller will share her inspirational journey of leaving the conventional 9-5 grind to achieve financial independence through flipping houses. After years of trying to figure out how to get started in real estate investing Amber successfully tackled her first flip in 2007 and hasn't looked back. In order to build her business she maintained a full time career in finance for 6 years and worked on her flipping business in the evening and on weekends. In 2013 she became a licensed realtor and committed to buying properties and renovating them full-time leaving her corporate career behind. Now with more than 200 projects completed she continues to actively flip houses and share tips and a real life look into the business so that others can successfully flip too.

3. Re-defining Public Speaking with Stephanie Butler
Stephanie Butler, founder of Voices Who Will, will help you redefine your relationship with public speaking. Learn about the history of public speaking, preparation techniques, purposeful delivery tactics, and strategies to overcome self-doubt. Stephanie has almost a decade of experience coaching women to become empowered speakers and currently leads Executive Visibility at Epicor.

From presenting to leadership, interviewing for a job, or speaking up in a meeting, it’s important to understand your own relationship with public speaking—and create a tailored, go-forward plan to becoming an empowered speaker. Her passion for small business, architecture, and interior design drew her to the industry, where she thrives as a consultant for clients buying or selling significant assets. Annalie also dedicates herself to training and consulting within the industry, aiming to equip agents with the knowledge to be true fiduciaries in their businesses.
