@Ron Buffano I’m in the same boat. Trying to find the best route for the same amount of capital

@Olivia Wong I’m in the north bay so I’m guessing you’re closer to the city with those prices. Most CA people I talk to are looking in the Midwest. With your budget you could buy 3-4 homes in Indiana and even some areas of Cleveland. Just depends on the neighborhood and surrounding areas

@Ned Carey something I’ve been looking into recently. But again, not in this state

@Ned Carey in theory, I agree.

But I live in the Bay Area and unless you have a sizable amount of capital, you are not investing here. Ex: my Neighbors house 3/2 1300 sq ft just sold for 520k

@Randy E. what areas of durham do you favor? I’ve been working with someone in Durham and the comps have been all over the place. From $103/sq ft to $140/sq ft

Any luck on investor-minded realtors in the Cleveland area who can work with out of state investors?

Many on these forums

I’m looking in RDU and Greensboro areas. Banking on people wanting to be close to raleigh and Durham without having to live there

Also Apex, Cary, and Holly Springs

@Jarrett Townsend true the prices aren't reflective yet of what it could be. If they can continue the work in North Oak Park and find a way to make it to South Oak Park, that would be great. I've also been looking in the Arden Arcade area for multifamily units.

@Nathan Faucett do you or do you know anyone working in the triangle or Charlotte? I’m working with one realtor in Raleigh but I’m curious to see what another agent can find me

@Tom Ott I’m also a California resident looking at Midwest properties. Kansas City and Indianapolis are wild right now

Would love to get more info on the market in Ohio.
