@Chris Dawson Hey thanks Chris for the awesome insight, I've heard you're quite the guru when it comes to navigating the KC scene. Let me be clear, I haven't had my first deal quite yet and I'm eager to pursue more of the investment side of things... So from what you mentioned, it would probably be a better bet to look into an independent broker. The only downside to that statement is I don't know where to look for independent brokers. Any suggestions there?

@Paul Timmins Paul, thanks for the great information resources! I am curious if you could expand a bit on what you mean by "small multi's owner occupied gets first crack".

Hey BP, this summer I'm getting my realtor license and I'm really interested to connect with some of you. I'm interested to hear what brokers are great to work with in the Kansas City area and grow. I don't have any family in the space so I was wondering what your personal experiences are with the brokers you have worked for in the past and the current ones you're apart of now. I'd love to hear your personal experiences as a agent/broker and what recommendations you may have for an upcoming agent, investor! Whats your WHY for becoming a agent/broker!? Thanks a million,

Austin

Thanks for the input @Troy Purvis, I'm going to consider this. I would really love to take an online course if there is anything that is of significant quality. More considerations welcome!

Great input @Scott Hood, I have seen Real estate express on the web and have considered that as an option. How is the pricing there and is their training something you can keep, (such as pdf files etc) or is it temporary to access?

@Adrianne Salyer, Hey man thanks! Can I ask what online program you used and how was the content? Would you recommend it?

Hey BP,

I live in Missouri and was wondering what type of real estate schools/online courses you recommend to take in this preparation to passing the exam.
