@Tyler Sterns is correct. In MD you can file exceptions to the sale if done within 30 days of receiving the report of sale notice for the Circuit Court. The grounds for raising exceptions, however, are quite narrow having to do with the conduct of the sale, sale price, etc. There may also be a dual tracking issue, but I know from experience that those are tough cases to bring and win.

It is usually better if you do not have to use your personal name because any liability (financial, legal etc) of the company will be separated from you personally. If you require financing for the project, the lender may require your personal gaurantee on the loan to your company. You could use your SCorp, but i can understand why you might want to set up another entity to keep the projects separate. It is relatively easy and quick to setup an LLC in Maryland.
