@Luke Carl thank you for your input! I’ll check the information on the site.

It’s a 1930s historic 2/2 with with 2 full bath 1050 sq ft. All renovated inside, really cute, and comes with all the furniture.

In my search for my first investment property, I came across a property that is being used for an Airbnb in Mount Dora, FL. The price is $270, with 20% down, my monthly would be around $1300. Currently, the reservations are averaging $2500 net a month. She has been using it as an Airbnb since May 2021.

I am completely new to real estate and would appreciate any input. Does this sound like a good investment?

I like the idea of generating cash flows through Airbnb’s. I also love mount Dora. The house is walking distance to the downtown.

Thank you for any input!!

@Aubrey E Alleyne thank you for that! Besides my mortgage, monthly expenses on the house, and how much I can actually rent the units for, are there any other points that you suggest I consider?

@Marco Martinetti it really is an adorable little town!

@Shawn McCormick thank you so much for your input! This is my first purchase ever and I was thinking that rather than buying single family home, a tri-plex might be better. The property is located on first street. About a 2 min drive to the downtown. Houses around look nice. It’s a small (2) 1/1 and (1) studio. For $510k. I was hoping to rent each 1br for $1200 and studio for $900. I’ll call around to the real estate offices and see if that’s a reasonable expectation.

Thank you so much again!

@Tyler Gibson Thank you, I appreciate that! I sent you a request.

@Aubrey E Alleyne thank you for the quick response, that’s great to know! The rental I’m looking at is for (2) 1 bedrooms and (1) studio, near the historic downtown. It’s listed for $510k. This would be my first purchase ever. Thank you again for your input!

Does anyone what the rental market is like in mount Dora right now? I am looking at buying a triplex, but I want to make sure I’ll be able to get it rented. Mount Dora, Florida
